While Rock Prairie Baptist Church does support broader missions, our closest mission is our community, Madison County.

Our church is uniquely positioned in the county between the city of Madisonville and the unincorporated rural community of North Zulch, Texas. While physically located in Madisonville, our church serves a diverse and widespread area.

Demographics (2020 Census):

Madison County encompasses Madisonville, North Zulch, and two additional communities. It has a total population of 13,664 residents and is home to a diverse range of age groups:

• Children under 5 years old: 6.7%

• Children ages 5-18: 22.5%

• Individuals 65 and older: 15.6% (of which 43.6% are female)

The population density is 29.9 people per square mile, reflecting the rural nature of the community. The median household income for Madison County is $67,128, with 18% of residents living in poverty, highlighting the need for strong community support and outreach efforts.
